Each two-hour session will cater to all abilities. You can sign up for one or as many sessions as you like.
You will learn about:
Planning what you want to make
Building beautiful ceramic forms, learning hand-building skills such as coiling, pinching, slab forming, slip-casting or using moulds
Decorating surfaces
Glazing with underglazes if time permits
Knowledge required
Adults with all levels of skill, from beginners to advanced. What you'll get
Unlimited clay, use of studio tools, glazes and firing of up to three pieces to keep.
Note: If you make more than three pieces, we can glaze and fire them at an extra cost, which we will discuss with you.
What to bring: Ideas.
Protective clothing (an apron and towel).
Drawings and/or photos.
Note that long nails can be difficult when working with clay, but we can work around that.
